Note: This is a part time role 

AIM: To deliver the world's leading gym floor customer services and retention programme

KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • To deliver world class service on the gym floor
  • To commit to the Les Mills Mission Statement and values
  • To deliver safe and effective exercise advice
  • To actively seek out and promote Les Mills events and services including Group Fitness and Personal Training
  • To ensure smooth day to day operations of the club in the absence of Les Mills Management
  • When necessary, to assist with the running of events as directed by the Events Manager or Head Club Trainer
  • To improve member retention by promoting assisted exercise options ie; Team Training, Group Fitness and Personal Training

TASKS:

Productivity:
  Achieve all Gym Floor service and operational KPI's

Operational:
 To perform the operational tasks that ensures the smooth day to day running of the gym floor 

Service:
 To build and maintain effective relationships with Les Mills's members

Professionalism:
 To do it in a way that is over and above the acceptable level of service and standards

MEANS:

  • Responding to member enquiries and requests in the mode of a 'walking help desk
  • Responding to the Clubs Silent Call button calls using the RTs
  • Delivering Explorer Series Sessions· Correcting technique
  • Conducting gym duties in accordance with the Daily Checklists
  • Conducting other gym related duties and tasks as directed by your Line Manager  Maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A genuine interest in people and in providing a service
  • High levels of energy
  • Passion for the Les Mills product
  • Confident· Problem solving and decision making skills
  • Professional and well groomed in appearance
  • Exercise Science Qualification and REPS certified to Exercise Consultant level 2

  • Daily Checklists
  • Member Interaction Diary
  • Explorer Series Bookings
  • Number of referrals to Les Mills events and other member services
